HYATT REGENCY MISSION BAY SPA & MARINA

One of our most user-friendly offerings, just about anybody can kayak, and our friendly staff will make it even easier! After checking in, you’ll simply pick up your paddle and lifejacket, then continue down some concrete steps to our private beach where your kayak will be waiting. With the assistance of our staff and any pointers you might need, you’ll wade out a short distance, sit in the kayak and with one final shove you’re ready to kayak! The completely protected waters of Mission Bay create a lake-like environment, so launching and landing from the sand is very easy. And once you’re on the water, Santa Clara Point is within a no-wake zone, so you’ll continue to enjoy calm waters for a great day of kayaking on Mission Bay. Expect to get wet on a kayak, and leave any electronics or valuables safely stored in one of our lockers while you’re out on the water. We have single and tandem kayaks available for rental.

For something a little more challenging, give stand up paddleboarding a try!
