Your reservation begins at the designated time you selected. Please arrive 30 minutes early to complete the rental agreement, safety video, and boat checkout. High-demand time slots move quickly, so it is important that your group is ready to begin on time.

Arrive 30 minutes early. Parking can be tight around Mission Bay, so give yourself extra time instead of cutting it close.

What to bring

A picture ID and a credit card are required for all rentals. You will also need to keep your ID with you while out on the water.

What riders usually want to know before booking.

How many people are allowed on one jet ski?

The maximum capacity is 2 people, subject to the manufacturer’s recommended weight capacity and safe operating limits.

How fast do they go?

Our jet skis typically go around 30 to 40 mph depending on rider weight and water conditions.

What is the rental process?

Someone 21 or older is required on the jet ski. After completing the rental paperwork, you will watch a short instructional video, receive orientation, and then proceed to the jet ski.

How old do you need to be?

We require someone 21 or older to operate the jet ski.

Do I need to bring my own lifejacket?

No. You are welcome to bring your own, but it is not necessary. We provide lifejackets for all ages and sizes.

Where can I take the jet ski?

The jet skis can operate throughout Mission Bay, but they are not allowed in the channel leading to the ocean or in the ocean itself.

Can I jump the jet ski?

No. Riders are required to stay 100 feet away from other vessels and operate safely at all times.

Can I bring an infant on a jet ski?

No.

Are there speed zones?

Yes. From May 1 through October 31, Sail Bay is reduced to 5 mph from 11am to 5pm. During those hours, renters must operate in Fiesta Bay, which is an open-speed zone at all times.
