Kayak Camps are offered 5 days a week from 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm for kids ages 9-16. Campers will learn the basic strokes and safety of kayaking and then we will tour the bay as a group and explore wildlife both above and below the water. Kayaking is a great way for kids to get out on the water, explore nature AND get some good physical activity as well.
Kayaks of the past were made of wood and were relatively unstable and difficult to maneuver. Today, kayaks are stable, comfortable and safe for beginners and kids. They are harder to overturn, and easier to maneuver, and depending on the age of your children you can choose from single and double kayaks.
